How should I use Softouch Fabric conditioner?
- You can visit the “About Softouch” section of the website for details.
- Softouch is suitable for hand wash and machine wash. Usage instructions for both are also provided behind the pack.
- For machine wash, in addition to the instructions behind the pack, please follow the instructions given in your washing machine user manual to maximise performance for fresh-smelling, clean clothes. Add the product to the correct compartment of your washing machine. Avoid using the product with the main washing cycle, for best performance. If you are unsure of the right compartment, please check your manual or contact the service operator.
In addition to the above usage instructions, please follow the below precautionary measures too:
- Do not dilute fabric conditioner prior to its use as this will affect its performance.
- Ensure that the product is never added directly on the fabric. In case of accidental spillage, please rinse the fabric immediately with water only. Any use of detergent to remove the fabric conditioner stain will only enhance the stain.
- Only use the dosage cap of Softouch. Please do not mix detergent cap with that of the fabric conditioner. Mixing up of detergent liquid/powder can affect the performance of your fabric conditioner adversely.
How should I store Softouch Fabric Conditioner?
- Always store Softouch fabric conditioner at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
- Keep fabric conditioner away from extreme hot or cold conditions, preferably between 20°C - 25°C. Do not freeze.
What are the signs that fabric conditioner has gone bad?
Most fabric conditioners are designed to be environmentally friendly and are biodegradable in nature. Hence, your fabric conditioner may thicken over a period of time as part of the process of degradation. This may be accelerated due to improper storage conditions such as extreme cold and hot conditions. That’s why it’s important to follow the correct storage conditions.
What is the shelf life of Softouch Fabric Conditioner?
- To get best results from Softouch Fabric Conditioner, use it within 3 months of opening the pack.
- The product is at its peak performance during the first year after manufacturing when stored in a cool and dry place, away from extreme conditions of heat and cold, and away from direct sunlight.
- Fabric conditioners may thicken naturally over time. Hence, it is recommended to avoid storing it in large amounts.
In what dosage should I use Softouch Fabric Conditioner?
- 1600 ml, 800 ml, 400 ml, 200 ml
1 cap for a full machine load (4-5kg / 20 clothes)
OR
½ cap in a bucket of water( ̴5L) - 18 ml
2 sachets for a full machine load (4-5kg / 20 clothes)
OR
1 sachet in a bucket of water ( ̴5L)
What does 10 clothes mean exactly (with reference to weight of the washing machine)?
- 10 clothes refers to 10 t-shirts, which amounts to 1.5-2 kg. For this, we recommend one full 18ml sachet, or half a cap of Softouch fabric conditioner.
- A washing machine load of 4-5 kg will need one full cap of fabric conditioner.
Other cautionary information
- This product is not for internal consumption. If consumed by accident, seek medical advice immediately.
- Keep away from children.
- Do not get this product into your eyes. If it does, wash immediately with plenty of water.
- Do not mix with bleach, starch or washing powder. This product has to be used in the last rinse separately.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use.
